What is the difference between industrial-grade and food-grade sodium gluconate?

Industrial-grade sodium gluconate is produced for construction, metal cleaning, and similar non-edible applications. Specifications are optimized for chelation power, low iron content, and consistent water-reducing performance. It does not carry food safety certifications such as FSSC 22000, Halal, or Kosher; food and pharmaceutical applications require higher-purity grades.

What is the typical dosage in concrete admixtures?
